Get to know...Harry Matthews

We first met Harry Matthews in 2024. A professional boxer, model and actor, who you may have spotted in the Netflix film, Boxer. 

He hit the runway in the Master Debonair show for York Fashion Week, and his charisma and energy meant we knew we'd be working together again. His style is perfectly dapper with a bit of cheekiness thrown in. And he's now a regular in MD photoshoots and videos. 

Harry. Your first experience of Master Debonair was during York Fashion Week, when you modelled our pieces on the runway. And then you joined us for an editorial photoshoot too. Which experience was the most enjoyable for you?

I’d have to say the editorial shoot was my favourite but being part of York Fashion Week was also good experience because it was the first time I’d walked down a runway and the show was really well put together and it’s what allowed me to make this great connection with MD! 

We've had you in a slick velvet dinner suit, a Bond-esque tuxedo, tweed three piece suit and even some of our A/W casual wear. Which look has been your favourite so far?

I think the casual wear with the dinner jacket has to be my favourite because it’s what I wore when I picked up an award for my short film Boxer which MD kindly helped me prepare for with my outfit for the night! 

How would you describe your normal everyday style?

My normal every day style is in my gym king tracksuit when delivering my PT’s but maybe you guys can bring out an MD tracksuit I can wear too? ;)

What has been your favourite memory with MD (so far!)?

My favourite memory was the recent 2 day shoot we did in Bolton! The owner Simon Whitaker was great to work for and meet, as well as Nicky and Bernardo who got us some fantastic reels and shots which was great promo! 

You're a boxer, a model and an actor. If you could only pick one to keep doing for the rest of your life, which would it be?

It’s gotta be the acting as I’ve been working really hard at that but my first love will always be boxing, but I plan to get out after this year in good health! 

What does 2025 have in place for Harry Matthews?

I’m enjoying the rest of this year fighting on the road on some amazing shows and I’ve a few film projects on the go too so I’ve much to look forward too! Hopefully more work with MD too!
